These flexible-elastic PUR foams used mainly in the industries producing automobile seats, upholstered furniture, and mattresses are, for example, also used by toy manufacturers and by the producers of sporting articles.
The foaming agent used today is mostly carbon dioxide that is generated while producing polyurethane by means of the chemical reaction of isocyanate with water.
