Environmental philosophy of the Ruehl group |

1. As Ruehl handles dangerous substances we are aware of our responsibility for people and environment.
2. We always decide whether an order is environmental friendly enough in order to proceed. In such a case we reserve the right to refuse but will do the utmost to offer suitable alternatives.
3. Whenever employees come in touch with customers or others we will find within technical possibilities the most secure way to avoid danger and risk for people and environment.
4. Manufacturing and distribution of such products are handled in a way that no resources are wasted unnecessary. We therefore watch carefully the use and consumption of raw materials, water, electricity and heating energy. When selecting materials and their suppliers we take potential environmental danger into consideration.
5. We cover environmental damages when caused by Ruehl. In this case it is not a deciding factor when it happened.
Within the scope of our resources we will clean-up of former waste deposits at our real estates. Thereby the appreciation of the real estates considered as an profitability factor.
6. Our plant does not create any (irresponsible) danger for people and environment. Due to continuous development of production procedures and products, we will prevent an increase of pollution measured on throughput and the available technology.
7. In order to meet existing requirements to our company as well as inter company decisions, we do internal auditing and have created an external supervision.
8. In a case of emergency the smallest possible consequence is guaranteed by alarm preparation and training.
It is our objective, as a professional supplier to offer support for handling of problem creating substances and guarantee regular supply within economical methods.
