Through our ongoing development of light resistant to fully transparent PUR Systems based on aliphatic isocyanates (HDI), we have reached the production stage for our first formulations and these can now be offered to our customers.
By selecting the appropriate admixture of polyol and depending on the HDI type we currently cover a range of hardness between approximately 65 Shore A and 85 Shore D. For the more flexible types (< 80 Shore A), we are able to supply very elastic (with a high degree of rebound elasticity) and also visco-elastic formulations.
The new PUR Generation is already being successfully deployed. The best known application is the lining of hardwood components for the interior finishing of high-class automobiles. In addition, the first mould components for the medical and sanitary applications technology sector are also close to the production stage.
